John Deere Pedal Tractor Pull June 30 1:00 pm
Pedal Tractor Pulling is fun to watch, kids of all ages love it and great for the family.A huge thank you goes out to the volunteers from Gooseneck Implement for hosting this popular fair event. Pedalers ages 5 through adult are invited to participate for prizes. Come out and compete or cheer on your favorite pedaller as they show their pedal strength and driving skills! This will take place at the south entrance to the fairgrounds before the start of the Demolition Derby. Everyone gets a prize and the top pullers in each division receive a trophy.
HOW DOES IT WORK? Each child sits on a pedal tractor and drags a weighted sled as far as they can go. As the sled is dragged it creates friction, making it harder to pull. So the farther you go, the harder it gets!
Return the back page of the booklet to the Mighty Thomas Carnival ticket booth. Pages will be put on display at the fairgrounds.

These events have become so successful that they are returning for another year. The 4H groups of Pierce County are sponsoring this as a fundraiser and you won't want to miss it! A very recent well fed cow and a chicken (who has been feeding on delicious lettuce and grains) will be released into a specially numbered marked arena. You will be given a chance to purchase one of these numbers. Tickets will be available from 4H members at the beginning of June and be sold until gone. Only 135 tickets/ squares will be available. The cow and chicken will decide who the winner is by making his "deposit" on one of those numbers. Ahh, the sweet smell of success! Come out and try your luck and cheer for your lucky number! All of this excitement will be taking place south of the barns. Winners have a chance at $300 or $150. What a fun way to support a local organization.
